IP3 Research Focus: Themes

Embedding research in local contexts with local knowledge, stakeholders’ participation and fieldwork design

We support the academic institutions, research organizations and international agencies with local experienced researchers throughout the research setting and project cycle: from the outlining stage, to the development of research questions, to the design of methodologies and researcher approaches, to analysis, all the way through the write-up and publication.

Connect to the IP3 City Analytics

IP3 City analytics, a discipline that combines operations research and data science, has the potential to unlock the big insights behind the big data and move local governments toward higher efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of services:

  • Connect to the IP3 City Analytics. It is important to bring in your laptop and connect it to the University network on a regular basis. This will ensure that you have the latest updates installed and the most recent files synced to your device if you do plan to work off campus.
  • Test your device and access. If you have not used the Internet or VPN service to access files and applications remotely install and/or test the service prior to working off campus.

Remember that a number of services including email, Microsoft Teams, and access to web services are available without the need to connect to VPN services. Please only log in to these services if you require additional access to services or applications.

Our vision

Research is at the heart of our mission to create new evidence and frontier knowledge, and innovate policy and solutions for the benefit of business, industry and society, including hard-to-reach-groups and vulnerable people.
